By leaving the blue Malmedy route at Wavreumont (KM 6.1), it is possible to join the end of the black Stavelot route. The very short connection is achieved by following the small asphalt path. You pass some residences before heading to the right, then the left towards the hamlet of Challes towards Stavelot.
